Ours just happens to demand pets and request pets during recording sessions.

Bucky The Voiceover Superdog. He is our beloved #studiobeast

It’s a super hero name for a dog named after a super hero. Bucky is named after the Marvel character James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes, know to Captain America fans as the Winter Soldier.

The O’Connell children named Bucky when we adopted him in June, 2021 (he was about 9 months old) from a dog rescue in Cary, NC called Dog Warriors. The children didn’t know we were getting a dog and to have been able to surprise them with this precious dog remains one of my life’s happiest memories.

With the 13+ breeds inside him (if those dog DNA services are to be believed), our "super mutt" should be a confused, wreck of an animal.

But Bucky is – to our great joy - a smart, loving, friendly friend of a dog who just wants snuggles or just to hang with me in the studio at various times throughout the day.

Bucky pretty much owns the house and the studio – he certainly owns all our hearts.
